Chris is responsible for keeping the smooth operation of a paper factory in Central Jersey. He sees the huge amount of energy used in a commercial enterprise. He was tasked by his firm for energy conservation and the possibilities of going solar. During this process he decided that he wanted to go solar at his own house.

We placed 18 GE modules on his garage roof. His home and garage are historic buildings constructed circa 1890. This posed special concerns to the municipality, so we hired a local engineer to design a plan to re-enforce the rafters and stamp the plans to confirm the structural integrity.

MAK normally installs any required re-enforcements, but remember, Chris runs a factory so he did it himself. Chris has been enjoying the benefits for solar energy for about a year now. He also signed up for quarterly green tag payments.
